We are Jossie and Tim, founders of Sweet Spot Studio, and we are excited to be relocating to Juneau from Charlotte, North Carolina this spring.

We founded Sweet Spot Studio in 2018 with a simple goal: to foster meaningful community, and offer accessible and quality baking and culinary education. As we begin this next chapter in Juneau, we will start by offering custom cakes and cookies, private baking & decorating lessons, and partner with local businesses and community spaces to host cookie decorating classes.

This intentional, phased approach allows us the time to settle into life in Juneau, thoughtfully upfit our commercial space, and ensure that what we build here truly reflects the people and rhythms of this community.

We bring with us years of experience, Southern hospitality, a passion for education, along with a belief that food can bring people together. Whether through a celebration cake, a shared table, or a class designed for beginners and experienced decorators alike, our focus remains on quality, connection, and inclusion.

As Sweet Spot Studio Juneau grows, we look forward to creating a welcoming place for learning, creativity, and belonging, open to people of all abilities and experience levels.
